Zhongyuan Williams is a trilingual speaker with a multicultural background. She is fluent in Chinese, Japanese and English. Zhongyuan grew up in China, then lived in Japan for eight years for her undergranduate study and first job. She began teaching Chinese while she was attending college in Japan. She came to the States in 2005 and attended graduate school to study Multi-Cultural Education and Second Language Acqusition. Zhongyuan taught at Northeastern Universtiy and Providence College before becoming a full-time lecturer at Âé¶¹Ó°Òô.
Zhongyuan is coordinator of the beginner and intermediate levels and overseas all Chinese culture related events and activities. She is also a faculty advisor for GCC (Global Chinese Connection student club) and Phi Sigma Iota Honor society at Âé¶¹Ó°Òô.
